About
SATI is a multidisciplinary artist working across digital and traditional art, animation, and illustration, with a focus on contemporary visual language.
In 2015, she began her professional artistic practice, working across digital and traditional media and developing an approach rooted in comic-inspired illustration. Her works and animated pieces (later shaped by music, society and contemporary visual art) have attracted an international online audience of thousands, alongside growing recognition within the professional art community.
Sati's work has been influenced by Japanese animation and comic books, particularly their ability to convey complex emotion through simplified form and rhythm. She's is drawn to the softness, pacing, and intimacy found in hand-drawn animation, as well as the narrative clarity and expressiveness of comic illustration.
The Heart Behind the Hand
Sati's work has been presented internationally in exhibitions and public showcases, where viewers often say that she has captured emotions they recognize as their own. Many describe the imagery as familiar and personal, as if something unspoken was reflected back to them.
This response has become an important part of her practice, creating space for quiet connection rather than explanation.
